This comprehensive 7-day tour takes you across the historical, regal, and desert landscapes of India, showcasing the vibrancy of Delhi and Jaipur, the desert fort cities of Jodhpur and Jaisalmer, and the timeless wonder of Agra.
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Welcome to India! You will be warmly greeted by our representative at the Indira Gandhi International Airport with traditional garlands and escorted directly to your hotel for check-in. The day is free for leisure, where you can relax and enjoy the delicacy of your choice before an overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing & Transfer to Jaipur (280 km / 6 Hours)
After breakfast, your day begins with sightseeing in Old Delhi. You will visit the magnificent Red Fort (built by Emperor Shah Jahan), pay homage at Raj Ghat (the national memorial for Mahatma Gandhi), and enjoy a Rickshaw Ride through the streets near Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in India). Late in the afternoon, you will leave by road for Jaipur (approx. 280 km, a 6-hour drive). Upon arrival late in the evening, check into your hotel. You can enjoy dinner accompanied by folk music and a puppet show. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 3: The Pink City of Jaipur
Post breakfast, you will be escorted for a tour of Amer Fort (an 11th-century fortress town known for its architectural brilliance). You may choose to avail the elephant ride facility at your own cost. En-route, you will stop for a photo opportunity at Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Wind). The tour continues to the Jantar Mantar observatory and the City Palace, which serves as the residence of the royal family today. The palace hosts excellent private museums showcasing royal memorabilia, traditional weapons, artifacts, and intricately designed hand-woven textiles. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur – Jodhpur (355 km / 6 Hours)
After a healthy breakfast, you will check out and drive to Jodhpur (approx. 355 km). Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. Later in the day, you will visit the formidable Mehrangarh Fort, one of the most impressive fortifications in Rajasthan, situated on a hill offering stunning city views. Following this, you will proceed to Jaswant Thada, a beautiful white marble memorial built out of intricately-carved marble sheets. The rest of the day is free for leisure or exploring the local market. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.
Day 5: Jodhpur - Pokhran - Jaisalmer (285 km / 5 Hours)
Wake up, have breakfast, and check out to drive to Jaisalmer, the Golden City. En route, you may pass the Pokhran area. Upon arrival in Jaisalmer, you will check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Jaisalmer Sightseeing & Desert Experience
After breakfast, you will visit the famous Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila), one of the largest forts in the world, built of yellow sandstone. You will also explore the famous intricately carved havelis, including the Nathmalji-Ki-Haveli, the Patwon-Ki-Haveli, and the Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli. The afternoon can be spent on leisure activities. In the evening, you will head to the Sam Dunes to enjoy a beautiful sunset and a traditional camel ride. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.
Day 7: Jaisalmer - Agra & Departure (Long Travel Day)
This day requires a long travel component. After breakfast, you will be driven/transferred from Jaisalmer to Agra.
