This extensive 14-day tour combines the historical capitals of India with an authentic, immersive desert experience, showcasing the diverse landscapes, regal forts, and traditional villages of Rajasthan.

 

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

You will arrive late in the evening in Delhi. You will be greeted by our representative and provided an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.

 

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast, your day is dedicated to touring both New and Old Delhi. You will visit major attractions like Humayun’s Tomb, the towering Qutab Minar, the President’s House, India Gate, and drive past the Parliament area and the Laxmi Narayan Temple. After lunch, you will explore Jama Masjid, the Red Fort, and the Gandhi Memorial. Overnight stay in Delhi.

 

Day 3: Delhi – Mandawa (258 km)

Have breakfast and begin your drive towards Mandawa (approx. 258 km). Upon arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel. After lunch, you will enjoy a visit to the beautiful havelis of the Shekhawati region, famous for their intricate frescoes and paintings, which were erected during the 18th century. Overnight stay in Mandawa.

 

Day 4: Mandawa – Bikaner (220 km)

After breakfast, you will drive towards Bikaner. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is dedicated to covering the major attractions of the city, starting with a visit to Junagadh Fort (originally named Chintamani), commissioned by Raja Rai Singh. Afterward, you will explore the popular Jain temples. Overnight stay in Bikaner.

 

Day 5: Bikaner – Jaisalmer (333 km)

After breakfast, the morning is free for leisure or an optional visit to the local market. In the afternoon, you will begin your drive towards Jaisalmer (approx. 333 km), known as “the Golden City.” Upon arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

 

Day 6: Jaisalmer - Badabagh - Baisakhai - Ramkunda (Start of Desert Camp)

Post breakfast, you will begin your journey towards Badabagh to explore the royal cenotaphs of the Bhatti Rajput Kings. Later, continue towards Baisakhai (a small village) for lunch and a visit to a Hindu temple. The journey proceeds to Ramkunda, a religious site known for its Hindu temples. Dinner and night stay will be enjoyed in tents.

 

Day 7: Ramkunda - Roopsi - Ludharwa – Chatrayil - Peerwal

Have breakfast and continue your cultural exploration. You will travel towards Ludharwa through Roopsi, a village where locals live in traditional mud and stick huts. You will have lunch at Ludharwa, the former capital of Bhati Rajput kings, famous for its beautiful Jain temples. The journey proceeds to Chatrayil, a traditional Muslim village, before reaching Peerawal. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

 

Day 8: Peerwal – Salkha - Beri of Kanoi – Sam Sand Dunes

Post breakfast, you will leave for Salkha, a typical Rajput village, where you will relish lunch. Afterward, you will proceed towards the spectacular Sam Sand Dunes through Beri of Kanoi, known for its numerous water wells and local ladies carrying water pots. Upon reaching the sand dunes, you will enjoy a stay in luxurious camps, dinner around a campfire, and traditional Rajasthan’s folk music. Overnight stay.

 

Day 9: Sand Dunes - Kanoi - Masoordi - Jeseri

After breakfast, you will travel towards Masoordi via Kanoi, a traditional carpenter’s village. You will have the opportunity to shop for wooden handicrafts and observe the daily life of the locals. Lunch will be at Masoori (Masoordi). The journey continues to Jeseri, a water tank bounded by mesmerizing scenery and an Oasis, where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

 

Day 10: Jeseri - Dedha - Deegasar - Kuldhara

After breakfast, you will leave for Deegasar, crossing Dedha (a traditional Rajput village). After arriving at Deegasar, a beautiful village with a small lake, you will have lunch. The tour proceeds to Kuldhara (via a small Rajput Dhani), a well-known, ancient, and well-planned village that is a popular tourist attraction. Night stay in camps.

 

Day 11: Kuldhara - Moolsagar - Amarsagar - Jaisalmer

Post breakfast, you will begin your backward journey to Jaisalmer. En route, you will visit Moolsagar (known for its gardens, tanks, paintings, and architectural marvels) and Amarsagar (a lake cum Oasis). Upon arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. The day is free for leisure—you can relax, explore the nearby surroundings on foot, or visit the local bazaar. Overnight stay.

 

Day 12: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (265 km)

After breakfast, you will leave for Jodhpur (approx. 265 km). On arriving, check in at your hotel. The afternoon is free for leisure activities or visiting the local bazaar for shopping. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

 

Day 13: Jodhpur – Jaipur (334 km)

In the morning, after breakfast, you will begin your drive towards Jaipur (approx. 334 km). Upon reaching, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. The afternoon is free for leisure activities like market visits or simply resting. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

 

Day 14: Jaipur – Delhi (266 km) - Departure

Post breakfast, you will start your final road journey back to Delhi (approx. 266 km). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or the railway station for your onward destination.
